PART 2 : FAST TRACK A RELATIONSHIP IN 5 DAYS ...THE RESULT

 Fifi and Dave from Fox 101.9 were hoping that if they fast tracked over 5 days their casual relationship it would make Steph and Ash change their facebook status to "IN A RELATIONSHIP" 

So a recap...Steph won a competetion to try to turn my son Ash the commitment phobe into a relationship. Fifi and Dave had them do some tasks over 5 days 

First they had to go on a date ..it was a great night they both loved it 

Then they had to meet the friends. That went well

Then poor Ash had to call Stephs dad Alan who is a truck driver.

The conversation was slightly awkward. He started by telling Alan that he did a terrific job in raising Steph as "she is a gem". 

Followed by talking about footy... I could tell poor Ash was freaking out .. 

Then Fifi and Dave had a chat with him and Alan comes out with that his wife facebook stalked Ash and the only pic they could find he was butt naked

(he is laying face down on a towel he got sunburnt over summer) hahahahaha to which Ash responds "to be fair its not a bad rear end " then Alan comes out with "real men have hair on their ass" ... Alan stole the show thats for sure.

Fiday was D day.... WILL ASH SAY YES TO CHANGING HIS FACEBOOK STATUS TO IN A RELATIONSHIP AND COMMIT TO STEPH.

Fifi and Dave spoke to steph alone and told her she had won a holiday all expenses paid and spending money with Ash if he said yes and if not with her best friend Courtney. 

Ash came out and before they asked him the big question they had a suprise for him . Hamish and Andy who are his idiols left a message for Ash. I must say I could only imagine how stoked he was as I know how much he loves them. After the message Ash says "I dont want to say this is the highlight of my week that would be quite rude, but thats one to bank" 

Then it came to the moment of truth would he said yes.

They asked "would you be prepared to change your facebook status to in a relationship?"

Ash response was : "I might be a vilan here and say Im not quite ready yet...I just want to keep going the way we are ."

They both won the holiday and cant wait to go , I think they just said it was Steph and Courtney so listeners would say oh well she got a trip with her friend out of it . 

I was so proud of them both for putting them selves out there, knowing there would be hatersand the way social media is it couldve been nasty. 

Reading comments from facebook and instagram they both copped some hate and some love.

I know it was a big week and alot of people were listening even customers at my work had been following it not knowing it was my son.

I know my son...we are real close and I knew as even did Steph isnt ready to settle down (hence why she enetered the comp) but out of it they had the best week ever. They got a free date and spent all week with each other, they became closer, got money and trip to Byron Bay and Ash got a message from his idiols and they have memories to hold on to forever. There is a movie out called Trainwreck about a girl who is a commitment phobe 

So Fifi and Dave from Fox

Ran a competition about being in a relationship with someone who has commitment issues 

My son Ash has been casually seeing a girl named Steph for a few months and she entered the competition and won . 

So the fun began on Monday they went into the studio to meet Fifi and Dave at Fox 101.9. 

They both said they had a great time and were so welcomed by everyone at the station.Fifi and Dave have decided to try to fast there casual hook ups into a relationship by Friday and hopefully get Ash to get over being a commitment issues.

Will it work ??? 

Will they become facebook official??

Will Ash break those walls down??

Will Steph get her man ???? thats seems weird as her man is my son so

This is going to be very interesting week #fasttrack #trainwreck.

They went on the radio and chatted to Fifi and Dave about there casual relationship. Steph definatly wants  this to progress into a relationship but my son on the other hand likes things the way there are . 

They tell Ash the first challenge is to take Steph out for dinner as they have never been on a "date" and Fox sends them to the Crown Casino for dinner at Rosetta .They both enjoyed there date and absolutely loved the food ,resturant and service they received.

When I texted Ash to see how the date went he said it was great ,it blew his mind that in between courses someone came and swept the crumbs off the table and that he couldnt even pour his own drink. He was definatly out of his comfort zone but had a great time and it was an amazing experience. 

Steph enjoyed it also and was happy to finally go out on date .

The next day they went into the studio and talked about there date and was told there next challenge was "meeting the friends" I knew that was going to be interesting as "the boys" are really close and protective of each other I felt for poor Steph.

Wednesdays arrived and today they were to meet to meet the friends. 

First Steph rang one of Ashs best mates Deejay.

He and Ash have been mates for years she asked him if Ash had menetioned her and Deejay said he knew what was going on and that Ash is a commitment phobe and it was her challenge to help him over come it.

Then Steph asked if there was anything that would help her get over the line.

God love Deejay he responds with "As you know he is really close with his mum (ME) to the point where some might call him a mummy boy" .

I laughed when I heard Deejay say that but I wouldnt call him a mummys boy persay but we are really close and do have a great bond. Let me tell you if I didnt like a girl he was dating or wanted to date I would defiantly make it hard and be heard thats for sure hahaha. They had asked Steph if we had met and although she didnt expand on our first interaction she just said we had met. I actually met her when I had been bitten by a spider and was freaking out and went to show Ash. She was so concerned it was so sweet and defiantly won points in my book.

Next Ash had to ring one of her friends Courtney I could feel the awkwardness of that conversation. Now we have to wait as they announced tomorrow Ash has to meet her Dad. That is going to be interesting. 

Watching this unfold is weird as Mum. I rang my friend Stacey yesterday to fill her in and she freaked out saying she had heard it on the radio but didnt realise it was my son. She even waited in the car to to hear how the date went she was that invested in the story. Its  funny because even some customers at work had heard the story on the radio and were following not knowing it was my son in the segmant.

Will these 5 days fast track them into a relationship ??? 

All I know is Ash is one stubbon man and he has walls up when it comes to commitment so I wish Steph luck .........
