THINGS YOU MUST DO IN BALI

There is so much to do when you go to Bali but here is somethings I think are must.

FIRST : Head to the beach in Kuta and walk along the beach till you come to a massive turtle that looks like this

and there you will find Jimmy"s bar, it is the place to drink. You just kick back on the chairs and Jimmy or Wayan or one of the boys will bring you a drink and a crate .You just put your empty bottle in the crate raise your hand and they will bring you more.
Once you have finished they will add up the bottles in the crate and then you pay. What more could you want.
Although there are many places to drink this is the one to try.

Feel like trying something different like surfing???? they can help with that too. You can rent a board and they have people to help teach too. Sony is one of the guys who an teach you surf.Add made jimmy on facebook and this is what you will see all the tourists that visit daily. the best drinkers of the day and the prettiest sunsets ever.
Here are some sunsets I have seen

THE TURTLES:

The big turtle that is behind at Jimmy's bar  holds baby turtle eggs that thru out the year they have release in the ocean.I got to do this the first time I went , it was amazing, so much fun . We released 104 in the ocean that day . They are just so cute and was a great experience.
Here are some pics

SHOPPING:
Although I love walking thru the markets and shopping I love sitting at Jimmys and letting them come to me. People walk the beach and offer you a ittle of everything to buy. Things like, sarongs,watches,make up, wood carvings, smokes,braclets,hena tattooing.You can even get your hair, nails,toes and massages. I got it all as you can see below ;

HIRE A DRIVER AND VENTURE OUT DO SOME SITE SEEING:
This trip I did just that , Bayu was our driver we hired for the day its about $50-$60 Australian dollars for the day.
He showed us around took us to where the Bali bombings happened and to Bali Safari and Marine Park.
Getting a driver that is a local can make your trip alot more interesting because they can show you stuff you would otherwise not find.
After we had done everything we went to Jimmys for a drink and watched the sunset ,then headed back to the resort where we shouted him dinner to say thank you for everything he had done.

BALI SAFARI AND MARINE PARK:
This is a must do .... We brought the V.I.P package it was about $105 aussie dollars but so worth it.
The package included:
*free lunch
*unlimited safari bus rides
*free photos with the tigers or monkeys
It was one to tick off the bucket list thats for sure.
I feed elephants carrots and I even rode an elephant.
It was one of the best experiences I have ever had . Here are some pics from the day .

KUTA BEACH CLUB ...WHERE I STAYED IN BALI

Bali is one place I was worried about travelling to , I had heard all the stories and watched all the T.V. shows and after the Schapelle Corby drama, then the Bali 9 stuff I was weiry about going. Friends who had been and my bosses go alot and convinced me to go last year.

I fell inlove with the place, shopping, massages, pampering and people. This year I went again and this time I was planning on doing the tourist thing , seeing what Bali had to offer and I wasnt disappointed at all .

I stayed at kuta Beach Club it is the perfect location and walking distance to most things . The price varies I payed $90 a night. The good thing is you pay per room not per person .
Here are some pictures of the resort.

When arriving you get a beautiful refreshing drink ,the rooms are nice and I was lucky enough to book a room on the ground floor near the pool(and pool bar ).

There is a bar that is open 24hours so thats handy (especially when you dont sleep)
There are safes in the room to keep your money and passports safe.

Breakfast was included and went from 7am-10am and the choices were great a little bit of everything.
Some of the choices include:
ceral,toast,various fruits and jucies, coffee,tea and water,bacon,sausages,rice,noodle,
muffins,croissants,pancakes,french
toast, and a chef there to make you eggs anyway you like it or omellets omg I cant fault anything when it comes to the brekky menu.

Here are some pics ;

When you walk around the grounds the place is so pretty and the greenery is amazing too.

There are staff only a hola away and they are so friendly and helpful and they are always smiling and happy to help.

The pools are right in the middle ,one has a waterfall and the other has my favourite thing a swim up pool bar.I spent so much time there just drinking, eating, reading and chatting to everyone in the resort.
Both times I have been I have met some fantastic people who made my holiday even better.
We drank, talked and laughed for hours.

When you walk out the front there are shops across the street,to the left is a connivence store that sells water, alcohol, smokes, muchies everything.
To the right of the resort is Annies Spa where I go at least 3 times a day for a massage or some kind of papmering.

I cant fault the place and if you ever visit Bali I highly recommend staying at Kuta Beach Club.
