The person who founded MiMco is actually an Australian designer by the name of Amanda Briskin-Rettig.She launched MiMco in 1996 at the age of 26. Her husband David who was a solicitor joined her company in 1999 to take over corporate and financial management.
It was inspired by her childhood name mim, so mim+co became MiMco.
She started with just $5000 and 2 designs for handbags and then years later sold the company for $45 million dollars.
the handbag sells for $399 . She has it in a tan color as well as an I phone 6 phone cover
